이번 Covid-19 Art Spirit 특별전은 최근 코로나 팬데믹으로 우리사회는 여러 분야에서 역사상 가장 아픈 시련기를 겪고 있다. 특히 미술분야의 작가들은 경제적으로 어려운 환경을 맞고 있을 뿐만 아니라 작품활동도 작가의 혼과 열정을 잃어가고
있다. 이러한 환경에서 사회와 작가가 소통하며 서로를 위로하는 특별한 전시를 기획하고 대중들에게 잠시나마
마음의 ‘위로와 치유’할 수 있는 기회를 마련하고 어려운 고난을 함께 극복하는 위한 목적의 전시다. K-ART SPIRIT ‘은 어려운 코로나
정국에서 우울해진 모든 사람들에게 위로와 극복의 메시지를 주고 삶의 새로운 용기를 얻는 기회가 되기를 바라는 마음이다.
이러한 예술적 공감기재인 작품을 통해 전주지역의 작가와 서울지역 작가가 조우하여 지역성을 탈피하고 상호 작가정신을
교감, 새로운 도약의 확장성을 획득하는 계기를 마련 하고 작가들이 보다 확대된 작품성을 발현시키고 전국적으로
홍보 할 수 있는 기회의 장을 마련하는 새로운 개념의 미술 전시다. 동시에 많은 국민과 작가들에게 새로운
용기와 치유의 기회를 만들고 동시에 지속 가능한 아트 플랫폼을 구축할 것이다.
국내 지역작가들의 미술생태계는
지협적인 변방작가에서 탈피되는 새로운 질서가 절실히 필요하며 이러한 전시를 기반으로 국제경쟁력 있는 작가 발굴을 통해 글로벌 작가로의 기회를
만드는 새로운 이벤트가 될 것이다. 관람객에게는 ‘치유와
회복의 시간’과 동시에 차세대 예술가들을 발굴하여 국제적인 작가로의
도약을 위한 시스템을 구축, 해외 미술시장에 참가하여 활동력을 키우고 세계 수준의 작가를 만드는 전문
‘Art Agency 미술관’으로써의 창구역할을 구현하고자
하는데 그 목적이 있다.'위로와 치유를 위한 미학’ 이라는 새로운 이슈를 통해
작가와 관람객의 미학적 공감을 소통하고 어려운 시대에 상처받은 우리사회 모든 사람들에게 위로와 ‘치유의 공간’을 제공하는 특별한 기획
전시다. 이와 관련하여 작가의 지속 가능한 창작을 함께 고민하는 차원에서 기획하고 몇 가지 이야기 하고자
한다.
The COVID-19 Art Spirit special exhibition is the most painful ordeal in history in various fields due to the recent Corona Pandemic. In particular, artists in the art field are not only facing an economically difficult environment, but also losing the artist's soul and passion in their work activities. In this environment, it is an exhibition aimed at planning a special exhibition where society and artists communicate and comfort each other, providing the public with opportunities to "comfort and heal" their minds for a while, and overcoming difficult hardships together. K-ART SPIRIT' hopes that it will be an opportunity to give a message of comfort and overcoming to everyone who is depressed in the difficult COVID-19 situation and gain new courage in life.
Through this artistic empathy, it is a new concept of art exhibition that provides an opportunity for artists to meet in Jeonju and Seoul to break away from locality, communicate with each other, gain scalability of a new leap forward, and promote them nationwide. At the same time, we will create new courage and healing opportunities for many people and artists and build a sustainable art platform at the same time.
The art ecosystem of local artists in Korea desperately needs a new order to break away from intellectual marginal artists, and based on these exhibitions, it will be a new event to create opportunities for global artists by discovering international competitive artists. The goal is to create a system for next-generation artists to leap into international artists at the same time as "time for healing and recovery" for visitors to participate in the overseas art market to develop activity and create world-class artists.It is a special planned exhibition that communicates the aesthetic sympathy of artists and visitors through the new issue of "Aesthetics for Comfort and Healing" and provides comfort and "Healing Space" to everyone in our society who is hurt in difficult times. In this regard, I would like to plan and talk about some things in order to think about the artist's sustainable creation together.
