He was born in 1957 at Soonchun, at the age of five,chinese classic from his uncle who a renowned scholar as its learning of calligraphy was spontaneously accepted, since a middle of school he has had a solo art exhibition and he won various outstanding awards, at last won the prize at the Korea National Exhibition which marks a milestone in his career, actually he has been engrossed in calligrapgy for almost 50 years including of diversly genres from such as Jenseo, Yeaseo, Choseo so on. and Seal engraving on bamboo even on ceramic, in 2005, he invented emography himself ,it was derived from emotion and calligraphy is a kind of compounding creative new word by himself, later on, for the shake of further studies,he graduated from graduate school of Dept.of Korean painting, Sang Myung Univ. His trial has been sustained looking for new methods in which used to transform calligraphy into contemporary art, at last it was sublimated by his efforts. To be deviated from past image of mere techniques by brushing stroke on plate paper,he has been contrived new materials how could he escape from stereo-type of brushing skills,up to date he found a very unique method that gaining it through long term agony, still evolving of his artworks by his genius thought.
Amazingly he had uncountable times invitational exhibitions in overseas such as Genermany, USA, China and domestic, so far he has been participated in various exhibitions and had 17 times solo exhibition, numerous group exhibitions as well, recently he had an invitational exhibition hosted by George Madison University, USA, where with a special performance,lecture, after that he appeared in Fox5 Morning News USA, introduced his art world and also showed up its splendid artworks,which was noticeable in news media, megazine and art journals in abroad and domestic he won the diverse calligraphy awards either Calligraphy Culture Award or Monthly Calligraphy Award ,2005 includig of Grand Prize in Calligraphic section, Korea- Canada Int'l Art Exhibition so on.
Also he remained distinctively thesis in great deal of publications as follow.
'Treatise on Ann Jin - Kyung Calligraphic Stylers, Study on Contemporary Expression of paintings based on Calligraphy and My work - Master Thesis. so on.
According to many famous critics such as Kim, Bok Young, even a foreign writer and artist,Anna Maria Johnson and Director, Sawhill Gallery at James Mason University, they are all praised his ability of potential artworks and his brilliant aesthetic expression regarded as to cutting edge way of contemporary art, it contained even profound meanings of an assimilation and harmoney between western and eastern beyond the world of psychological, philosophic,even geometrical as new media, now he continues vibrantly to explore his affection of art at the globe art scene with a virtuousity and spirit upon his insight extroversively, as many people's prospective opinions, sooner or late, thrust that he will become a great artists on the world class stage,keeps an eye on his activities.
