Born in Penang in year 1982, Cheng Yen Pheng graduated from Dasein Academy of Art, Kuala Lumpur with a diploma in Fine Arts. As a 28-years old artist, she had participated in a number of group exhibitions and winning several awards and competitions, as well as exhibited both locally and internationally. The most recent are the exhibition New Object(ion) currently held at Gallery PETRONAS. She is also one of the recipients for Malaysian Emerging Artist Awards, which she received in 2009.
