1932 born in Kwangju and moved to Seoul since his study in college, he has been significantly contributing to the development of Korean Sculpture from the early stage in Korean modern art and also remaining tremandous marks on Korean Contemporary Art, and contributed considerably to the field of architecture as well,through many works of construction in his early stage with his ardent and high sensibility,currently he is alive few honorable veteran artist among those who are sculptors in Korea, who respected by audience in Korean art scene, the point of view for his formative works in which he has always focused on humanity such as a familyship, featuring its prograssive shape with simplicity and meekness as you can imagine. Though he is senior artist, still working vividly as if young artists,engrossed in creative activities, over several hundred times participated in various major exhibitions in Korea and abroad so far.
